Young Artist Programme - Applications for Designers
Waterperry Opera Festival are seeking two Design Assistants with specific interest in costume making and costume design to assist on productions across our 2020 Festival Season as part of our Young Artist Programme. The programme brings together directors, designers, conductors, producers and singers at the start of their career, seeking professional experience within the operatic industry. These are unpaid educational opportunities.
We have two positions available:
The successful candidates for both roles will have competent sewing skills, an eye for detail and an enthusiasm for creative problem solving. Prospective candidates should be available between 6th July - 16th August with some availability beforehand to attend planning sessions and meetings. During the week of 10th August, all artists transfer to the Waterperry Estate in Oxfordshire for final rehearsals and performances. Full board and food will be provided for the duration of your stay at Waterperry, along with travel expenses to and from the venue.
