From concession discounts to our weather policy, here’s all the information you’ll need to make your Waterperry Opera Festival booking with confidence.
Ticket Discounts & Concessions
We’re committed to making opera accessible to everyone.
Discounted tickets are available for certain performances and seating categories for the following groups:
Blue Light Card Holders
Disabled patrons, who may book one companion ticket at the concession rate
Those in receipt of Government Benefits (e.g. unemployment, disability, or income support)
When booking online, please select the relevant concession ticket type and be ready to show valid proof at the Box Office when collecting your wristbands.
If proof is not provided, the difference to the full ticket price will be payable.
The Blue Light Card discount applies only to the cardholder, not to the entire booking party.

Booking & Ticket Delivery
All tickets are delivered electronically via email from our Ticketsolve system.
Please show your e-ticket (printed or on your phone) at the Box Office when collecting your wristbands on the day.

Exchanges, Cancellations & Refunds
An integral part of the Waterperry Opera Festival experience is that most performances take place in the open air, and may be affected by the weather.
We have extensive contingencies in place, and cancellations are only made at the advertised start time.
If poor weather is forecast, please dress appropriately and bring suitable protection — umbrellas are not permitted during performances as they obstruct views.
If a Show Is Cancelled
Due to Bad Weather:
Your ticket can be exchanged for another performance in the same festival (subject to availability).
Refunds are not available for weather-related cancellations.For Any Other Reason:
You can either exchange your ticket (subject to availability) or request a refund.
Exchanges
To exchange your ticket for a cancelled performance, complete our online Exchange Request Form (need to create link for 2026 form)
You may choose to:
Transfer to another performance of the same show, or
Exchange for a different show within this year’s festival
Refunds
To request a refund for a cancelled performance (not due to weather), please complete the Refund Request Form (need to create link for 2026 form)
Refund terms:
Only the ticket price will be refunded (booking fees and delivery charges are non-refundable)
Requests must be made within 3 months of the cancelled show date
Refunds are not available for weather-related cancellations
