We consider a trip to Waterperry Opera Festival to be the perfect day out with the chance to not only experience the highest quality opera, but also to enjoy the Waterperry Gardens and indulge in a few treats at the same time! Our picnicking areas and interval dinning are a delightful part of the Festival for you and your party to enjoy between performances. We have many on-site food and drink options available for you to pre-book when planning your visit.
Dining Pavilion

Enhance your experience with a seat at a table in our popular Dining Pavilion. At £15 per head, our Dining Pavilion offers audience members the opportunity to book tables in a charming setting, a stones-throw away from the Front Lawn performance area. Tables seat up to 6 people, however there is no limit to the number of seats you can book, with a minimum of 2 seats per order.
Our Dining Pavilion users also have access to a dedicated parking area, a steward will allow those who have booked access through a gate to the pavilion. |

Picnicking

Waterperry Gardens is a wonderful setting to enjoy eating alfresco.
You are very welcome to bring your own picnics to enjoy at Waterperry. During the day you can picnic by the teashop on the dedicated picnic lawn. Picnicking is not permitted in the formal gardens during the gardens’ regular opening hours. However, with the kind permission of the Waterperry Gardeners, picnics are allowed in the formal gardens during the interval of performances. On performances with extended picnicking interval, you are welcome to set up your picnic any time from 5.30pm when the doors for these performances open. |

Our picnic hampers (for 2) and grazing food boxes (for 1) are all made fresh and prepared lovingly on-site, and offer as a perfect option for convenient picnicking.

For the first time, we will have our own professional on-site Waterperry bar which will be stocked with summer cocktails and award-winning local Oxfordshire wines, provided by Hendred Wines. Beat the queues by pre-ordering a bottle of still or sparkling wine now for your party.
