Last Night at the Opera

Start Time & Duration: Performance starts at 7:00pm and finishes at 9:30pm. There will be a 50 minute interval.

Ending our festival with our superb Festival orchestra guiding us through an opera gala concert, where listeners will be entertained and captivated by timeless musical favourites in our trademark casual setting. Join us for an unforgettable night of opera at Waterperry House and Gardens as we end our festival with a timeless display of classical music al fresco!

This will be a mesmerising open-air classical concert set against the beautiful backdrop of Waterperry. Let the symphony of strings, brass, and woodwinds sweep you away on a summer’s evening. Expect the spellbinding harmonies of Mozart and Tchaikovsky, operatic favourites, famous duets, and much more.

From powerful crescendos to delicate notes, you will delight in an evening of elegance and musical brilliance, that’s anything but stuffy, with the Waterperry Opera Festival orchestra led by our very own internationally acclaimed conductor, Bertie Baigent.

Families young and old, children, and classical music newcomers are all welcomed with open arms!
