Other Information
The role will be working with a small team of stage managers (x1 DSM & ASM). The role would suit a candidate with skills and experience working in outdoor theatre.

Festival Technician (LX Bias)

Includes Fee, Accommodation (On-Site at Waterperry Opera Festival) and Food

Dates:
Festival Build - 7th and 8th August 2022
Headline production tech rehearsals & smaller project builds - 9th/10th/11th August 2022
Performances start/Festival Opens - 12th August 2022
Day Off - 15th August 2022
Further performances - 16th August - 20th August 2022
Final load out and break down - 21st August 2022

Responsibilities: 
Action notes and tasks across the whole festival site, assisting wherever needed across all disciplines. Take on LX and sound duties wherever needed, as well as stage/lighting set ups across the festival. Move equipment, furniture and set across the site as and when needed. Assist with festival build and break down, rigging and de rigging. You may be asked to take on small show call duties, like turnarounds, pre sets, special FX and emergency staff cover. You will have to power on and power off the mainstage daily.

Other Information:
You will be joined by another festival technician, with a stage/carpentry bias. You will report to the festival production manager. Hours will be decided by the festival production manager. You will be required on site from 7th August-21st August, with a day off on the 15th August. A contract will be agreed upon for this role, with a full list of duties and responsibilities, if we wish to proceed.

Includes Fee, Accommodation (On-Site at Waterperry Opera Festival) and Food

Other Information
You'll be working closely with our Sound No.1 and Production Sound Engineer to install the sound system.Main responsibilities will be looking after the cast and orchestra mics, and giving technical support backstage. The role will be working on a show call basis throughout the festival, totalling 5 shows. You will also be expected to be present throughout technical rehearsals as well as the load in and load out.
