A One Night Extravaganza on the 13th August from 6:30pm

Duration: Approx. 2h30 Details: 18:30 start | 21:00 finish The Waterperry Prom is a fun, informal gala concert designed for all ages to come and enjoy a joyous celebration of well-loved classical works including Bizet, Mozart, Elgar, Puccini and more, performed by festival favourites - the incredible soprano Alison Langer, mezzo-soprano Beth Moxon and tenor Thando Mjandana. Accompanied by the largest ever Waterperry Opera Festival orchestra conducted by Bertie Baigent.
The evening will be hosted by Guy Withers, Artist Director and CEO of Waterperry Opera Festival. Be prepared to dance, and sing along, wave some flags and have a great time in the magic setting of our main stage on the Waterperry front lawn, all topped off with some fireworks to end the evening. We look forward to welcoming you to this feel-good evening of great music and merriment! |

What is a Prom?
Our Prom, or Promenade, concert will have an informal atmosphere. We want you to have a great time casually soaking up glorious music in the wonderful atmosphere of Waterperry House and Gardens. This will be an event suitable for the whole family with no dress code, just great music with your family and friends in our welcoming environment. This year we have a professional bar and food vendors on site, plus you can also bring your own food and drink to enhance your experience with us.
